Hello Eli and Andrew. First of all thanks for doing these podcasts about βmyβ people. Iβm a Circassian originally from the Kabardino Balkaria republic, but born and raised in Turkey. I have been living in the U.S. for the past 5 years and saw your podcast with Suhein in Circassians in the U.S. FB group. I just loved listening to that episode and started listening all your episodes from the beginning. I had no idea that this podcast existed until today. I have a lot to catch up π As a Circassian who has never been to the homeland, I have heard a lot of stories about the Caucasus growing up in Turkey, in a Circassian Villge where nobody spoke Turkish, but only Circassian. Thanks for sharing these podcasts so that I can learn better where my ancestors were exiled from. Keep up the great work. I am so very happy that I found you guys. Best

Emre, wow it is amazing to hear from you! We will be in touch soon to hear more of your story. We’re so privileged to bring some kind of value to you and other Circassians in the worldwide diaspora…..
Hi!!! We are LOVING your podcast!!! My husband and I visited Dagestan this summer with some friends. It was the BEST experience ever!! We are hoping to return soon. We are currently taking Russian lessons with a native speaker. I wanted to hear the original Russian interview from episode 14, I think. Thank you for this podcast!! It’s been so great!
Hey Hannah! Wow thanks for the feedback! Awesome you got to visit Dagestan! Shoot us an email at podcast@caucastalk.com , would love to hear more about your trip, where you went, what you saw, etc. Eli and I will work on getting the Russian interview portion of Episode 14 to you too…….we never got around to actually posting that!
Just listened to the films and history podcasts, enjoyed them both and you’ve gained a listener. Also very glad to hear some positive things being said about the Caucasus region in English, I’ve been there many times and it’s a wonderful place. Keep up the good work!
You can find them on each episode page on the website, or when clicking through on the podcast app to that episode, they should be below the description.
Itβs such a great project that you guys are making this. Really enjoyed the alpinist series. Have you talked about food yet? What kind of foreign foods do locals like? Thanks for broadening my horizons.
Wonderful to learn about your area. Thanks Eli and friends for helping me broaden my cultural knowledge, including sports. Very interesting and well done.

Thank you Mark! Let us know if you get a chance to watch any of the films! We knew there are other Caucasus fans out there other than us! π
