CT9 – “Assuming Friendship” – 3 Weeks, 5 Homes

The nick-name for today’s episode is “Story Time with Uncle Andrew.” Not only is Andrew actually a good story-teller, but he has good stories to tell. The past few months have furnished us with a wealth of experience in Caucasus friends’ homes and visiting the various republics of the Caucasus. Today Andrew draws out key lessons from three intense weeks over the summer when he visited five homes.

Today we also share a new “Tourism Tip” for those of you considering coming to visit. We hope that is many of you! We have some very exciting news to reveal soon that we hope will inspire many of you to consider coming our way.

  1. Wonderful stories. Thanks for sharing these. We should be so much more generous with hospitality. It is fun to do this and see the joy that it brings to most internationals who live in the US. This weekend I got to have lunch with a new Mongolian friend, dinner with a Bangladeshi family and conversations with a Chinese brother and Palestinian shop keeper. Just learned that we have at least 50 languages near me.
